East of this line remains rain which transitions to snow by Friday evening. Freezing rain is possible, with the highest ice potential along Highway 14 into south central South Dakota. Heavy snow is possible along Highway 14 and west of the James River. Strong winds accompanying the falling snow creates near blizzard conditions Friday afternoon into Saturday.
