The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors, in conjunction with County Officials, have closed the Dickinson County Courthouse to the public, effective noon on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, until further notice. This change is due to the national emergency regarding COVID-19.

County and State employees remain on the job inside the courthouse.

Citizens are encouraged to conduct business via email, mail, fax, or online when possible. Please visit to locate contact information for County offices.

Effective immediately the Dickinson County Auditor would like to relay the following message in regard to the upcoming elections:

There are NO CHANGES to the candidate filing deadlines. They are as follows:

  • County Level Offices: (Partisan for June Primary) Wednesday March 25, 2020 at 5:00 pm.
  • County Level Offices: (NPPO – Township, County Hospital Trustee, Soil, and Water Conservation Board for November General) March 20, 2020 at 5:00 pm.

Budget Filings

The Department of Management has issued a blanket budget extension to April 30th for City and School budget filings. If you have any questions or concerns please call the Auditor’s Office at 712-336-3356 or you can call 712-330-7438.
